If your business needs the feedback or consultation services of an experienced IT professional, you've come to the right place!
Having been involved in the industry professionally since 1984, I've been able to provide hundreds of businesses and thousands of individuals with quality advice and sound IT recommendations. My motto in the eighties was "your 'personal' computer consultant and programmer". Even though my services have broadened right along with the industry to encompass much more than personal computers, the "personal" aspect is still an extremely important part of my core services, and will always remain so.
And, unlike many consultants that charge outrageous fees that most small to mid-size businesses can't hope to afford, and for every "consultation" they give, I take a different route...
First, my rates and fees are not only very reasonable, but most importantly, I do not itemize my consulting when combined with the majority of services I've been contracted or hired to do. In other words, time spent discussing your network or web site design needs are not charged for if the result is that you've contracted or hired me to do the job. That, combined with the fact that the majority of my initial consultations are also free of charge, gives you the greatest value for your hard-earned dollars!
And secondly, also unlike many other consultants, I will not surprise you with outrageous "research" fees that you weren't prepared for. If true research is needed, I'll let you know, along with an estimate of how much may be needed. In reality though, many times some consultants charge these "research" fees to actually learn what they need to do, instead of doing what they need to do. This practice is something I've always abhorred. If I don't know how to do it, I tell you, and if it's something I feel I should know but don't, I teach myself. I never charge the customer for "research" unless it truly is. I learn continuously, but I teach myself at my own expense.
A few areas I offer consulting in include, but are not limited to:
- Networking and system administration needs and analysis
- Network costs, considerations and determining TCO (Total Cost of Ownership)
- Hardware and software acquisition and purchasing
- Linux® and Microsoft Windows® solutions
- IT growth and scalability
