Thanks go to the W3 Consortium, Linus Torvalds, the Free Software Foundation, Mozilla.org, Netscape®, OpenOffice.org, barnesandnoble.com, MapQuest, Web Counter, Bigfoot, Google®, PowWeb and a host of others for their help in providing the tools and web-authoring information needed to create and develop these pages.
This site, apart from representing my services, is also used as a test bed for in-house web design and development of PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, Java and streaming media technologies as well as standard HTML (including Cascading Style Sheets, DHTML and XHTML).
Currently, a regular text editor (Vim) is used for the majority of coding on Linux® operating systems (in addition to Quanta+ and Screem HTML editors on occasion), and GNU's The GIMP is used for the development and creation of graphics. For testing page presentations, the graphics browsers Mozilla and Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft® Internet Explorer, Netscape® Navigator and KDE Konqueror, as well as the text browsers lynx, links and w3m are used to ensure the greatest conformity and compatibility between various platforms and browsers.
